A nice sunny warm winter day and great for a hike. I started the hike by walking clockwise around Battleground Lake and then headed out on the Chelatchie Rail Trail. Only a few horseback riders and a lone hiker were on the trail. Fortunately, the trails were devoid of debris, from the recent storms, but they were a bit muddy because of all the rain. I ended the hike at Battleground Lake and enjoyed the view. Plenty of people fishing at the lake!
