Hike Distance: 6.4 miles
Elevation Gain: 766 feet
The WSU campus, in Salmon Creek, has a very nice trail system, and today was a great day to hike on it. It should be remembered that there is a $3 parking fee for visitors, but it is well worth it.
It was a cloudy day and the rain held off until the end of the hike. I tend to hike a counter-clockwise type loop on this trail system. I also included the Pleasant Vally Park trail to add a bit of distance to the hike. Getting to the Pleasant Valley Park requires walking a sidewalk east on Salmon Creek Avenue to a crosswalk area. A very nice day in the fresh air.
