This hike is close to home and makes for a great late afternoon start. The trail conditions were quite muddy, and I was glad that I wore my rain pants to keep the mud off my pants and socks. The occasional storm cloud came overhead and it was awesome when the hail started coming down. 🙂 Plenty of Trillium in the forest, and a field of wild Mustard at the TH added some real color to the view! I really enjoyed taking this one slowly.
