Burnt Bridge Creek and David Douglas Park Hike

Hike Distance: 7.9 miles

Elevation Gain: 530 feet

A nice leisurely hike on the eastern side of the Burnt Bridge Creek trail.  I had seen people walking to/from a connector path near Andreesen road and with further investigation found that David Douglas Park was a short distance down the road.

The cut-in trail to David Douglas Park is obvious but not marked.  I was surprised and happy to find a half mile long forested path going through the park, before coming out into the many baseball fields.  There is also an asphalted path going around the non-forested part of the park that I followed.

A very pleasant cloudy day with few people on the trail.  It was also nice to find a new area to explore.
