The day started out cool but it turned much warmer as the sun came out. I didn’t see very many people on the trail until I reached Dry Creek Falls. I had the falls to myself for a few minutes and then the people, and their unleashed dogs, arrived. I decided to leave and head south on the PCT until I reached The Pinnacles. The section of trail between Dry Creek and The Pinnacles had only a couple other hikers, and it was great solitude and the forest was beautiful. A truly fantastic day!
