The hike started out with some ominous clouds followed by a downpour. I was adequately dressed for the rain, and chose to wear the clothing although it didn’t rain again during the hike.
I first headed out towards the pleasant valley park, and took an alternate trail to get to the main trail. The alternate trail takes you toward the backside of a covered picnic area. This park is a linear green area that is bordered by a school and homes, but it’s still quite nice when no people are around.
I then went back to the WSU campus and traversed the outer trail system in a counter clockwise direction. I also explored a few new trails I haven’t been on. This campus has an extraordinary trail system with lots of places to explore. I enjoy coming here when I’m looking for a close trail system.
