After seeing the doctor, for the one week checkup, I was given a bit of latitude in going for walks. I probably won’t be able to resume normal hiking for weeks, and can only go on level trails that won’t cause me to exert certain areas of my body. I’m trying to make the best of it as going for a short walk in a beautiful area is better than staying in the house!
So, we headed out to Moulton Park to walk a small section of the Murphy Grade Trail. A very warm and humid day but a very nice shaded area that is filled with beauty. Not many cars at the Hantwick TH, or people on the trail, so it was quite a nice day. I’ll definitely have to wear a backpack (has aluminum struts for stiffness and support) for future walks as my back ached afterward the hike. I’m also limited to 20 pounds maximum lifting weight, so I’ll unload most of the unnecessary gear to minimize the load. 🙂
