High temperatures, over 100, and excessive smoke, from British Columbia fires, has continued to keep me close to home and hiking earlier in the day. I also made sure to keep hydrated in these temperatures!
It was actually quite nice at Lewisville Park when I stayed close to the river. There were plenty of people next to the river but I was still able to find some solitude. The forested trail section of the park had relatively few people, and I also took some of the trails that spawned from this. Unfortunately, there was also plenty of garbage due many rude people that don’t pack it out. 😦
