Lewisville Park Trail System Hike

Hike Distance: 4.8 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 1008.9 miles

Elevation Gain: 411 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 106827 feet

High temperatures, over 100, and excessive smoke, from British Columbia fires, has continued to keep me close to home and hiking earlier in the day.  I also made sure to keep hydrated in these temperatures!

It was actually quite nice at Lewisville Park when I stayed close to the river.  There were plenty of people next to the river but I was still able to find some solitude.  The forested trail section of the park had relatively few people, and I also took some of the trails that spawned from this.  Unfortunately, there was also plenty of garbage due many rude people that don’t pack it out. 😦
