The last day of our vacation. Since we’ll be visiting our son at his apartment in Seattle, we needed to keep the hike short and not a far drive out of the way. This 29 mile long trail is quite the nice hike. The trail is asphalted but it was still a pleasure to hike.
There is a huge parking area at the TH, with the Nakashima historic barn being the northern terminus. We didn’t spend any time at this historic barn since the hike needed to be short.
My favorite part of the hike was the crossing over Pilchuck Creek, where there are some nice views! Just a really nice trail with few people on it. We’ll be back. 🙂
