My wife and I again headed north onto the forest roads for a hike. Surprisingly, it was very cold and we had expected a sunny and warmer winter day. We were both chilled despite our wearing the proper clothing. It helped to start walking but the chill really never left us until the end of the hike, when it turned sunny and the heat of the sun was felt.
We saw no people the entire day and were under the canopy for most of the day. Unfortunately, there were no great view or water features, but we were pleased with being surrounded by trees and in the fresh air. 🙂
