We haven’t been to Millersylvania State Park in a while so we decided to head up there to hike the extensive trail system. It’s a long drive (about 90 miles one way) so we don’t go up there too often.
Fantastic weather and a light dusting of snow on parts of the trail made for a wonderful hike. The trail system was in good shape, but was muddy around the lowlands.. There is plenty to see in this park and we passed by a nice old growth area, walked on boardwalks and had great views of Deep Lake. 🙂 The best part is that there were very few people on the trail!
Truly a great day in the outdoors!
