Some strong winds were expected today so we headed out to an area where it was out in the open, and less susceptible to falling branches.
This is a great rails-to-trails hike that spans 50+ miles from I5 all the way to the Washington Coast. We started at the TH just off I5 and proceeded to hike west. There are a number of road crossings but the trail primarily goes through farmland. Plenty of views of the Chehalis River and some nice trestles crossing it! We did see the blue sky peek out a few times, which is always nice.
Very few people seen on rainy days like these. 🙂 A great day to get some fresh air.
