Vancouver Lake Park Hike

Hike Distance: 5.2 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 319.2 miles

Elevation Gain: 73 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 43592 feet

A nice stroll on the trail system located at Vancouver Lake Park.  I’m starting to look forward to the spring and summer weather.  I really enjoy the cloudy skies but some sun would definitely perk me up!  There was plenty of snow on the distant mountains but that will most likely be gone when the temperatures rise in the coming weeks.

I sometimes wish I had some sort of seat so I could just chill next to the water and stare out in the distance, but, I really don’t want to carry the extra weight.  I tend not to take many breaks while hiking but it would probably feel good.  I’ll definitely need to stop and chill multiple times a day, while on the PCT, or it will be difficult to hike the long daily distances.

Definitely a beautiful day for a hike!
