Whipple Creek Regional Park Hike

Hike Distance: 5.9 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 403.2 miles

Elevation Gain: 759 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 54904 feet

A delightfully cool day with a couple of sprinkles but mostly sunny.  I wasn’t able to leave the house until afternoon so wanted to stay close to home.  I meandered around this wonderful park and enjoyed the fresh air.  There was plenty of mud on the seasonal trails but it was easy to go around.  A surprisingly large number of people walking and running today but it wasn’t distracting.

I noticed that the Trillium are starting to bloom and took a picture of this beautiful white flower! I’m really looking forward to all the spring flowers that will bloom in the coming months, and will be sure to take plenty of pictures for posting in this blog. 🙂
