Forest Road Hike

Hike Distance: 10.9 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 573.5 miles

Elevation Gain: 1358 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 74067 feet

Taking advantage of a gorgeous day I headed out for a nice forest road walk!  Temperatures were in the high 60’s with a slight wind that help cool me down.  The remainder of the week is looking much cooler with plenty of rain, so it was nice to take advantage the cooperative weather!

Still not many flowers out in this area but the Skunk Cabbage was starting to bloom here.  There was still plenty of snow at the tops of the higher mountains, which is always beautiful to see, but won’t probably last too much longer.  I also caught a garden snake warming in the sun on the road, and they rarely stay long enough for a picture.  🙂
