Carol and I decided to hike the Lacamas Lake Park after she finished work. The main motivation was that the Camas Lilies are in peak bloom. 🙂 There is a wonderful Natural Area in this park where the Camas Lilies are the main attraction.
So, We started out this loop area in a parking area just north of the park. Heading in a clockwise direction and soon reached the natural area. The Camas Lilies were amazing, and we stopped to take many pictures. We met an interesting gentleman and talked for quite a while.
We then continued our hike and winded through the park. The loop hike included views of Round Lake and a couple of waterfalls. There were also plenty of Camas Lilies on the south end of the park near a waterfall overlook.
Such a great late day hike on a beautiful day!
