Salmon Creek Greenway Trail Hike

Hike Distance: 5.0 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 900.4 miles

Elevation Gain: 467 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 117303 feet

This hike stated out with me forgetting my hiking poles.  So, I went home and came right back.  At this time they are checking for the park pass at the station, for which I have a yearly pass to the Clark County parks.

The main goal of this hike was to get out and assess how my feet were doing, with all the pain I’ve been feeling because of the various shoes I’ve been trying out.  My feet still aren’t doing very well but I managed this small loop in a somewhat comfortable manner.  I stopped quite a bit to enjoy the creek and took plenty of pictures. 🙂

There were plenty of people in the Klineline Park area but that’s to be expected on such a nice day.  Elsewhere on the trail the number of walkers was much smaller.  At the end of the hike the ballfields were starting to fill up for a couple baseball games.

A very nice day!
