Whipple Creek Regional Park Hike

Hike Distance: 5.5 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 927.6 miles

Elevation Gain: 730 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 120846 feet

A quick hike around this beautiful park!  I didn’t have much time as I had appointments in the morning and at the end of the day.  This is always a great place to go when time isn’t on my side.

The morning appointment was with my Orthopedist.  The toe pain issue I have is a form of bursitis that is due to wearing narrow shows and rubbing against it.  I was grateful to learn that this isn’t a big issue and I need only apply a topical NSAID type cream, along with wearing my wider toe box shoes! 🙂  As usual, my concern about a bunion was for nothing.  I really need to stop looking up symptoms on the internet as they usually lead in the wrong direction.  I got the go-ahead to continue hiking at my current pace, and also got a green light for the PCT hike. 🙂
