I started hiking on the late side so didn’t have time to go very far. It was a beautiful day so even a short hike was appreciated. There were quite a few people at Klineline Park, which was curious since the water was polluted and swimming was supposedly off limits.
I avoided Klineline Park and just started hiking west on the Salmon Creek Greenway. I tried stopping to take pictures but people were along the shore where I hiked, so I left them alone. I investigated whether the bridge over Salmon Creek was installed, which it wasn’t, but ended up tearing the topside of my trail running shoe on an exposed piece of rebar. 😦 That really pissed me off, but there was nothing I could do about it.
So I kept walking west until I reached an intersection that allowed me to make a loop during the hike. This section of the trail was devoid of people and was quite nice! A very nice hike (minus the shoe damage).
