A nice family hike with my son on one of our favorite forest roads. My son still needs to keep elevation gain down due to recovery from a stress fracture. This area definitely fit the bill.
It was a nice temperature but rather humid today. We didn’t see anyone on the roads despite it being hunting season. We’re wearing our orange backpack covers just to warn hunters of our presence. A very enjoyable day.
