Whipple Creek Regional Park Hike

Hike Distance: 6.8 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 1602.8 miles

Elevation Gain: 820 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 211329 feet

A short time to go hiking so I stayed close to home and hike this wonderful park!  There was the threat of rain but it never materialized, although it was very cool at the beginning of the hike.  The trail system was also devoid of people, except for a couple of riders on horseback, and I enjoyed the solitude.  There was still some nice color in the deciduous tree leaves and I took some pictures.  I also spent some time removing English Ivy from the trees.  English Ivy is invading this park in a significant way, and it will be killing the trees if not removed.  A fine day for getting some fresh air!
