Vancouver Lake Area Hike

A beautiful day to be out in the Vancouver Lake area, since the views of Mt. Hood are so stellar!  Although it was a bit cool, with some wind, it was pleasant to hike in.

One highlight of the day was meeting a nice gentleman on the north lake trail.  He was clearing the trail of fallen trees/branches with his chainsaw.  We had a very nice discussion and I thanked him for clearing the trail. 🙂

Mt. Hood was so beautiful that I took many photos of it, with Vancouver Lake in the foreground.  I wanted to stay until sunset, which was in about 30 minutes, but had to get home.  I really enjoyed this hike and it paid off to take it slowly as my back did very well.
