Lacamas Heritage Trail Hike

Hike Distance: 6.5 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 207.2 miles

Elevation Gain: 221 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 25805 feet

It poured today and the mood was amazing!  The rain was also very effective at keeping the other hikers and trail runners off the trail.  The car was parked at the south end of Lacamas Lake and I proceeded to hike to the three mile marker and back.  The first half mile of the trail was slushy and slippery but easily traversed when taking care.  Some snow obviously remained but the rain was handily melting it.  I wanted so badly to trim some of the ivy off the trees but I didn’t have the right tools with me. 😦

A very nice day and not too bad on the back!!
