Whipple Creek Regional Park Hike

Hike Distance: 5.6 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 248.8 miles

Elevation Gain: 748 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 30055 feet

I saw the physical therapist this morning, before the hike, and he liked the information from the Orthopedist.  I was given several exercises, to stretch the new areas of concern in my hip.  Skipping ahead to the night, when I tried the new exercises.  The clamshell stretch I was given completely eliminated the hip impingement that gave me great pain.  On the first rep I felt a pop, and the impingement was gone!!!!  The other stretches also felt good, and I’m hopeful for improvement of my back. 🙂

A quick walk around Whipple Creek Park today but not much to convey.  I’ve been working on liberating trees of the Ivy and pulled a muscle in my shoulder.  The moral of the story is to remove your backpack when cutting vines and sawing branches.  I just got lazy and paid the price.
