Whipple Creek Regional Park Hike

Hike Distance: 5.4 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 282.2 miles

Elevation Gain: 690 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 32491 feet

Whoa, I’m feeling quite tired today after all the manipulations Dr. Kaluza performed on my back yesterday.  For some reason my legs felt like lead and I also had no energy.  To be honest he did ask me if I had anything important to do, which I took to imply that I would be sore for days?

The main focus of my day was to do my typical hike around the park, and to remove ivy and liberate some trees from their killing grasp.  I’m glad to say I accomplished both task today. 🙂   It was especially satisfying to get rid of a thick ivy coat around one particular tree.  I included a picture of my handywork.  One of the photos tries to show just how far up the tree the ivy had creeped.
