Frenchmen’s Bar Area Hike

Tonight I go in for an MRI and hopefully will find out what’s happening with my SI joint and lower back.  Since this test is very detailed, I’m also wondering what else will be found.  I guess we’ll see in a couple of days when I visit my Orthopedist, Dr. Kaluza?

I really felt like another stroll along the Columbia River and headed out, yet again, to Frenchmen’s Bar.  It was another day of heavy winds, but they were strongest along the dike.  Once you got down along the shore the wind was much less gusty, probably because you descend to the shoreline and the dike shields it?

It was another gorgeous day and all the volcanoes were visible.  I also found a make-shift hut in a brushy area on the sand bar.  A gentleman I met on a previous hike took credit for building it.  I personally prefer that people leave these places natural!  I also took plenty of pictures.
