It started as a rainy day but eventually turned cloudy, but the mood was stellar. Not many people on the trail, but I didn’t expect many.
I hiked around the park and even went all the way to the TH on NE 3rd Avenue. The highlight of the day was finding a trail I’ve never been on that led to a viewpoint of Woodburn Falls, that was on the south of the creek! This was a very steep trail and took a few unexpected turns, of which one led to the falls. I always love hiking on new trails and this was a treat!
It was getting dark at the end of the hike and I need to get used to the early sunset time. A great day!
