Burnt Bridge Creek Trail Hike East of Stewart Glen TH

Hike Distance: 5.0 miles      Yearly Hike Distance: 1653.7 miles

Elevation Gain: 520 feet      Yearly Elevation Gain: 215575 feet

As I’ve said in a previous trip report, I believe this is the safest section of the Burnt Bridge Creek Trail.  I knew of one wooded area where there appeared to be a homeless camp, but today I didn’t see any sign of it!  I explored the area where the homeless camp resided and there was only a few remnants of any items, but there was still some garbage there. 😦

The best part of the hike was meeting up with a nice woman called Maddie (spelling?) and we had a very nice talk.  I really value meeting and talking with some of the people on the trail, and this was one of those welcome conversations. 🙂

There were some nice views of the grasslands around Burnt Bridge Creek, and I stopped for a few pictures.  I also walked on just about every trail between the TH and Hazel Dell Ave., which accounts for this much mileage in such a short distance.
